The Story

Knowing the woes of RV life and how harsh winters can be for those water pipes as well as the inside temperature, I personally understand how important a good RV skirting is. After testing out many different skirting ideas these past 8 years, I discovered that vinyl is the best. Not only is it lightweight which makes it easy to work with, it is strong. That being said, when it came to skirting my trailer with it, I quickly discovered that most companies who offered this option were out of my price range (by a huge amount). With this in mind, I decided to figure out how to make my own out of vinyl fabric. And, it worked!! Not only did it work great, it looked amazing. After over a year of holding strong, I decided to make more to help others. My goal was to make it not just affordable, it had to be portable. For the past two years I have worked diligently at hand crafting a skirting option that is lightweight yet holds strong, blocks out airflow to help keep pipes and people warmer during winter and cooler in the summer, a good weather block for more outdoor covered storage area, and it has to look good. With all that accomplished, I was able to start helping my fellow RV’ers. Now I’m here to continue this nationwide venture with you.

Custom Quote

For a custom skirting length quote to fit your RV/trailer, please message me the total dimension of your RV/trailer, including slideouts if you want those skirted in also. If you do not know what the total trailer dimensions are, send me the year, make, model, and model number of the trailer you have. example: 2019 Forest River Cherokee 39sr   If you have a fifth wheel, I'll also need to know if you want the nose skirted.

Installation Recommendations

Get a Game Plan together. To install all you will need is a drill gun with a philips bit and time. Everything else included. Because the skirting sets are standard makes I strongly encourage laying the skirting out in order to know where the screw and snap are going to land on the RV/trailer. Nobody wants a screw in the hot water compartment door or worse... Do not stretch this when installing it. Vinyl fabric is amazing but it is not meant to be stretched and the snaps will rip out if you do. Snug is fine but tight is not, you want it to be able to move with the RV metal during temperature changes. (summer to winter) Metal will expand and shrink, this vinyl material will not. So be very diligent of this fact.

Advisory for the Nitty-Gritty

Know that these are all handmade from decommissioned vinyls once used for advertising purposes so they will not be perfect. Although only mounted for three weeks maximum as advertisement vinyls, they will have some very minor wear on them, for example small marks, pin holds randomly (that are patched when necessary), and small discoloration spots at times. This said they're still in fantastic condition because each must pass a series of quality control checks. There is also the fact that they are handmade outdoors, although I take tremendous care and time with making each skirting set, know that I am still human so cannot cut absolutely perfectly. There may periodically be a wonky hand twitch cut, but it won't be a drastic notice. There also will be some dust and dried grass on them since they’re all made outdoors. For these reasons above, all skirting is sold as-is and is absolutely NON-REFUNDABLE. With that said though, out of a 100+ buyers I've only had one complaint from someone who decided not to follow my installation recommendations. They tried to stretch the material and one snap was ripped out. This has been the only complaint though. All other feedback has been wonderful.
